First in the Greek market innovative products Today, G.K. RIZAKOS S.A. is the largest Expanded Polystyrene production company in Greece with an annual capacity of 300.000 m3 EPS for construction use, and 25 forming machines for the production of EPS packaging materials, with an annual capacity of 8.000 tons of EPS. G.K. RIZAKOS S.A. is certified according to ISO 9001:2015 by the European certification body TUV CERT and is a member of the Panhellenic Expanded Polystyrene Producers Association (EPS Hellas). It offers Expanded Polystyrene products for any building use and in various types such as wall insulation, concrete elements and external thermal insulation with the trade names IPOR composite insulation boards, NEOCOAT and NEOPLAK (Expanded Polystyrene from BASF®), ISOCOAT and ISOPOR, for underfloor heating ISOFLOOR, for tile roof insulation NEOTETTO and NEOTETTO Air (unique in Greece), for inverted thermal insulation of roofs and thermal insulation of peripheral underground walls PERIPOR (New Expanded Polystyrene from BASF® with very low water absorption) and for the production of lightweight concrete with EPS granules ISOLBETON. At the same time, it has STYROFILL sound-insulating filling for wooden floors, Cubettiere compression-resistant moulds for ready-mixed concrete, TUBI debris collectors, and ISOPOR arte high-density expanded polystyrene (EPS) decorative moulds for the construction of various decorative concrete elements such as: frames, frames, columns, arches, domes and advertising structures. G.K. RIZAKOS S.A. is the exclusive representative of BOVELACCI interior decoration products, POLIGEL gelatinous release agent for formwork and commercial partner of KNAUF, SIKA, FISCHER etc. All products and goods of the company are available from its branches in Athens, Thessaloniki and Lamia. In 2022 the company's turnover was 24.000.000 Euro. 40 years of progress The company G.K. RIZAKOS S.R.O., in careful steps, with continuous evaluation of its investments and performance, The company is transformed into a Public Limited Company with an initial capital of 200.000 € and is transferred to the new privately owned facilities at the 1st km of the Lamia - Domokou highway, where the first modernization of the production of Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) for construction use takes place. The company expands in Athens, creating a branch office, starts producing EPSFlow Packing (EPSFlow Packing) and installs two-axis cutting machines (CAD/CAM) for the cutting of foam plastics. The company installs the first injection moulding machines for Expanded Polystyrene in its Lamia production unit and enters the packaging sector. 2001 The company expands to Thessaloniki by establishing a new branch to cover the needs of Northern Greece. 2005 Acquisition of the Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) industry 2005 "ATLANTIS S.A.". 2002 Start of construction of a new modern production unit in VI.PE. LAMIA. 2006 Merger of "ATLANTIS S.A." in C. K. RIZAKOS S.A. and its operation as the 2nd Branch in Athens. 2004 Transfer and full operation of the company in the new premises in VI.PE. Lamia. The new production unit of the company was constructed on a privately owned plot of 22 acres, where buildings of 9.000 m2 have been constructed. In these buildings the most modern machinery for the production of expanded polystyrene has been installed. The pre-existing facilities of the company at the 1st km of the Lamia - Domokou highway, after the completion of the relocation to VI.PE. Lamia, were transformed into a state-of-the-art distribution and trading store for all insulation and construction materials. The Management decides to proceed with the merger of the two Athens Branches in a privately owned area of 5,500 sq.m. in Menidi, Attica. Start of construction of a new factory. The founder of the company, George Rizakos, retires and his son Konstantinos Rizakos, Mechanical Engineer, and his daughter Elina Rizakos, Architectural Engineer, take over the management.
